I have a background in fine art, primarily drawing, painting and etching.  Photography has been a lifelong side pursuit that I have brought to the forefront of my creative endeavors in the past few years.  i attempt to extract the essence of a fleeting perception drawn from the world around me.  I use creativity to make a statement or promote a fantasy; spending much time in post processing to communicate impressions and ideas which arise from my photographic activity and transcend the initial sighting and capture.  

I print my own fine art images using exhibition quality archival papers and inks.
